Hey all, I just bought a 2006 Suzuki LTZ400 and it did not come with an owners manual. I have always had Honda ATV's but not very knowlegable on Suzuki's. Anyways, how do you get the LTZ400 into reverse? I know there is a reverse.
on the right fender, but I don't know how to activate reverse. I had it in neutral and tried to turn, push and turn, pull and turn, etc. So I am thinking there is something I am doing wrong. Also, anyone know where I can download an owner's manual? I know there are some on Ebay, but are there any free sites I can get one from?
Thanks in advance! You need to turn the. and hold it then pull up on the shifter when shifting to first just push the shifter down No this is not really accurate. STEP 1: You shift DOWN to 1st - STEP 2: Turn the. and HOLD it - while holding the. you shift DOWN past first into Reverse, once it shifts DOWN past 1st you release the reverse-.
Step 3: To get out of Reverse you just shift UP to 1st, no need to touch the. You can also find a downloadable manual on Ebay. There is a guy on there who has been selling them for years for like $5.
