Hello everyone, I've been learning French again lately and I've really been enjoying the challenge. Recently I purchased the A1 Alter Ego+ Cahier d'activites and A1 Alter Ego with CD-ROM. I have to say I'm so confused, are these resources that I can use to teach myself or are they solely for a classroom situation?
I'm not confused by the fact they are written in French, but by the fact that there appears to be a lot of information missing and excercises with no context. I'm not even sure how the two books link up! I actually purchased these because they were recommended by the French girl at the French bookshop who said that Alliance Francaise use them to teach. I then assumed I would be able to use them. Does anyone with experience using these books know whether I've made a mistake or if I should just persevere and try to figure this all out!? Thanks in advance, other suggestions would be appreciated. I actually have a French tutor I see once a week and it seems as if she's a little confused as well.
